If you haven’t followed the February contest at GVO, then you missed out on a tremendous opportunity to make some extra money for yourself.

For every referral to GVO who signed up with GVO using Tissa’s referral link, Tissa is going to pay his affiliates $250.00 and they get to share in the pool of money that is going to be earned from selling the car. Some affiliates signed up more than 20 referrals! That’s $5000 in commissions if they all sign up for at least a month and if Tissa wins the car.

The contest ended at Midnight Central time last night, but we won’t know the official winner until Mid March. But, as of last night, Tissa was at the top!

This just goes to prove what a powerful community of users we have at ACME People Search. When Tissa calls on the troops, they tend to listen and they certainly put their best efforts into winning this contest.

Tissa is more than likely going to lose money on this venture. If he wins the contest he has promised to pay everyone $250 for every GVO referral they sent him. Plus part of the money pool. If, for some reason, he doesn’t win the contest, he has promised to reimburse everyone for their 1st month’s subscription to GVO. There are hundreds of people who signed up.

But here’s the point. It was never about the car, or the money for Tissa.

This entire contest was about APS, and receiving the publicity that comes about for winning the contest. It was about having fun and using this contest to benefit the APS affiliates who are working the business.

Tissa is looking long-term here and realizes how invaluable this contest can be for providing great marketing, advertising, and promotion for all the APS affiliates.

Just as APS gets lots of publicity because of the GDI Leaderboard, which many APS affiliates show up on every week, the GVO BMW contest can be used to once again demonstrate that APS works, and it works well.
