Was ViralWebcaster Created by a Russian Hacker?

My Inbox for my email is starting to become comedy central for me! I mean, I just received another offer to purchase an unbelievable traffic tool that is going to generate over 1 million targeted hits to ANY website I choose.

Wow!

And how did this unbelievable traffic tool get discovered by the guy marketing it in the email?

You’ve probably heard the story before. He somehow came across some Russian hacker who had figured out how to divert targeted traffic to any website he wanted. And the guy was willing to give him the software to try it out for himself. I mean, not only is the hacker just an incredible genius, but he’s a philanthropist too! What a guy.

Of course, the tool needed some work done to it to make it easier to use and more appealing to the average person, and since the marketer had the software virtually fall in his lap (how many times does this stroke of luck happen to one of us), he felt as though he had to give back as well and help out all the little guys who were struggling to make it online. Karma right? Of course, he couldn’t just GIVE the software away. Oh no. If he did that, then two things would happen.

Do you know what they are yet?

1. No one would take the tool seriously.
2. The hacker and the marketer only wanted SERIOUS people to get their hands on the tool.

So there was a price that came with the tool. I think was $47 and it did come with a 60 day money back guarantee. For some reason I’m thinking this marketer is betting that a certain percentage of people never request a refund even though the product may not live up to expectations. That’s just a hunch though, and purely just an opinion.

So if you want to fork over $47 and try out this product be my guest. You might also want to try out one this former stripper uses as well. She used to make pretty good money stripping, but that profession came with a lot of annoyances. So she was really thankful when one of her “customers” at the strip joint told her about this traffic getting software he developed that could make her even more money than what she was making now. Look her up on Google. I’m sure you can find the product she’s now selling.

I guess you can tell by now that I’m not too thrilled with these wonder products that are being sold everywhere right now.

The truth is there are no “magic” ways to get traffic to your websites. No Russian hacker can do it, and no stripper has access to such a thing.

The methods to generate traffic are still the same old methods that have always worked, and they are plentiful.

• Blogging
• Video Marketing
• Social Media
• Media Buys
• Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• and many more

Many of these methods are tedious and time consuming. One of the ways you can save yourself some time is by outsourcing some of your tedious tasks to someone else. You could use a site such as Freelancer.com and bid out a project such as website design, backlink building, article writing and submission, etc. for a nominal fee.

Another time saving method is to purchase legitimate tools that will help you do some of your tedious tasks.

SEO, Backlinks, and ViralWebcaster

I own a local business marketing company in the Atlanta, Georgia area. One of the services my company provides is search engine optimization (SEO). According to Wikipedia, the definition of SEO is as follows:

Many of these tools will create lots of backlinks for you and the search engines, especially Google, have ways to determine if these backlinks are “legitimate” backlinks, or are they being creating automatically. In other words, are they “natural” backlinks (backlinks from websites who genuinely want to point to your website), or just random backlinks that have no relevance to the website pointing to your website.

If the search engines determine that your backlinks are not “natural” or genuine, they could actually ban your website from their search results and you would get zero traffic from SEO tactics. I’ve seen this happen on more than one occasion, so take this advice to heart. When building an SEO strategy, work towards getting real backlinks from real people and NOT from some tool that automates the process.
